Hi, I am Claire, and I am a home-based embroidery clothing brand based in the UK, whilst I am not new to running a business as I have run a successful VA business for 10yrs, I am new to building a brand. Sharing my love of cosy and fun clothing, I create sweatshirts, hoodies, T-shirts and soon lounge and jogger sets. My aim is to raise awareness of mental health and Autism, as well as day-to-day issues, like stress, anxiety and worry, using clothing to make a stand as well as making people aware that we all suffer from our demons, and sometimes a piece of clothing can make that worry a little less scary. I am working closely with brands that have the same ethos as my own, working with brands that offer sustainable blanks, eco-friendly packaging and or doing things for those in the communities they work in. I have chosen embroidery over any other technique as I prefer that long-lasting and professional finish, plus it is more environmentally friendly which fits in with business ethos. I hope my clothing falls under 'Slow Fashion' garments that last, not a 5-minute fad, or something that falls apart in a handful of washes. Creator and owner, Shawn Rohde, has been living the urban and coastal lifestyle for the past 25 years.  She has drawn inspiration from living in the bustling cities of NY, LA and Paris combined with the island life on St. Thomas and Hawaii mixed with southern living in Fort Myers and Charleston.  The creator has a deep appreciation for the arts, travel, handicrafts and color. Her mission is to blend vibrant color with the good vibes from sunshine using lively prints and easy flowing bodies. KikiSol, Artisan and Simpatiko are perfect options for summer, weekends, travel and a casual lifestyle. With over a decade of experience working in fashion, by kvp was founded by designer Kelsey Van Patten. by kvp manifested as a creative outlet for her self-expression and riff off of her personal style, with a major focus on earth-conscious, mindful fashion. The collection was born from the question she asked herself each day while getting dressed: “How can I operate in society wearing only fancy pajamas?” by kvp is a collection of ethically-made, genderless loungewear, made completely in stonewashed linen. Our garments are produced only in small batches or made-to-order. All the prints are hand drawn or painted by KVP herself, and then digitally printed onto our fabric. Founded in 1996 and now being taken by second generation, in the form of the founder's daughter and her husband, Vicky and Alex Cannon. Ella and Cherry was launched in 2013 after Cherry found it very difficult to find a blouse on the high street which was unique, yet wearable on a daily basis for any occasion and any season. Every blouse seemed to look the same, just made in different fabric prints or colours, and it was time for a change. Cherry started to draw basic concepts, playing with the collars and cuffs, and realised that there were endless possibilities and combinations she could create which would be both striking and wearable. Fast forward to present day and Cherry’s unique shirt designs incorporate double or triple collars and cuffs. All of these ideas were put into production and form part of her collection to this day. All our blouses are designed in the UK and made from the purest white stretch cotton. The pure white means the blouse will go with any colours in your wardrobe, and the stretch provides the all important comfort. However, Cherry was not finished just yet. Customers asked her to make garments which would complement her shirt collars and still be soft and easy to wash. So Ella and Cherry began to make beautifully soft cardigans, jumpers and ponchos from alternative high quality blends which were as soft as cashmere and without the allergy issues which can come from wool. Not long before Cherry’s first collection was made available to the market place, her beautiful daughter Ella was born, and so was the company brand “Ella & Cherry”
