Hi! My name is Jianni Acosta – Owner, designer and maker at House of Jewels Miami. As a first generation college student, I followed the American dream every immigrant parent wanted for their child - study, get a degree, and get a corporate job after college, and I did just that. The same day as my college graduation at the age of 21, I was on a flight moving across the country to California by myself to work for my first Fortune 100 company. A few years in, I quickly realized that life wasn't as glamorous as everyone made it seem. I was lost for a very long time afraid that I would disappoint friends and family who had always looked up to me. I used to bead for fun and figured I'd sell my jewelry as a "side hustle" until I found what my true purpose in life was - little did I know it was in front of me the entire time. My dream came true when i decided to combine my jewelry making hobby and my passion for business to create House of Jewels Miami. Thanks to the support I have received, I was able to quit my Corporate Finance job to follow my dreams of being a business owner all while doing something that I truly LOVE - making and designing jewelry. Your support means so much and I want to thank you for changing my life and for being my daily motivation, I wouldn't be able to do what I love without you!
