The name "Nandi Design Collective" is inspired by our founder, Nandini, and her deep-rooted connection to the historic city of Banaras, also known as Varanasi, a place synonymous with Lord Shiva, Nandi, and the unmatched craftsmanship of textile and weaving traditions. Surrounded by weavers and artists from a young age, she was fortunate to learn about fabrics, weavings, and traditional techniques directly from her mother, who holds a Masters of Fine Arts degree and specializes in textile design. Drawing from this legacy, Nandini brings a curated selection of timeless, handcrafted pieces to Nandi Design Collective, each reflecting the intricate artistry and stories passed down through generations. Here, tradition meets modernity, creating an elegant fusion that resonates with today’s sophisticated woman. At Nandi Design Collective, we believe in celebrating individuality and fostering a connection between the timeless beauty of Indian wear and the dynamic lives of our clients. CONSTELLATION APPAREL is a woman-owned and operated business on Salt Spring Island that is creating timeless linen wear, committed to sustainability and celebrating the diversity in woman's bodies. With over 20 years experience in clothing design, Kim brings a passionate knowledge of textiles, shape and precision pattern making. CONSTELLATION was born as an ode to her own changing body during postpartum, and has since become a lighted pathway for many others returning to self love in all forms. The garments are flattering, versatile, elegant and comfortable, things we hope to be as well.

'Coven' (as it is known to it's die hard fans) is a women's slow fashion, size-inclusive brand, designed thoughtfully and consciously in Australia with garment longevity and sustainability at the forefront of our design process. Coven garments are made to last, and to treasure forevermore. Our garments are feminine, nostalgic, timeless and romantic, with a touch of bohemian flare. Our founder and head designer Sian, was a child of the 80's and 90's, so you will see many nods to these eras woven throughout our collections, with every piece telling a story and reminiscing on the magical memories of yesterday. From it's humble beginnings, starting on Sian's home dining table, with just one product, Coven is now a global brand, shipping to over 100 countries. Coven has come a long way from it's early days, which saw Sian working out of her home for the first couple of years - hand writing all of the shipping labels at the Australia Post counter, and shooting the garments on a camera she didn't know how to use, with her friends kindly modelling for her. Now, Coven has a bustling team, and every order is carefully packed in compostable/recyclable packaging, then dispatched worldwide from our warehouse on the beautiful Gold Coast. Knitted from GRS certified yarn upcycled from discarded textile waste, LOOP knitwear is super comfy, soft, warm and breathable, as well as helping to reduce waste, water consumption and CO2 emissions. LOOP promotes sustainability in the fashion industry and transparency in the supply chain. This collection is made from recycled Italian yarn, and is knitted in Tuscany.

Hello, My name is Yana, and I am a Ukrainian refugee. When the war broke out with Russia, I awoke to the sound of bombs being dropped outside my home in Kyiv. I had 15 minutes to pack my things and flee. As I left behind my home and friends, I also had to leave behind my business. I am a fashion designer of women's clothing and lingerie. For the past eight years, I have owned a premium clothing brand, including a manufacturing company. I also had a flagship store that hosted beauty services and sold to wholesale partner stores. As I became displaced, friends in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, offered to sponsor me, and I was granted a Visa in the UK as I made my way across Europe. Since I arrived, I knew that, despite losing everything, I wanted to restart my business here in the UK to be self-reliant and pay taxes to my host country. To do this, I want to showcase other Ukrainian designers by buying from and supporting them. I aim to raise awareness of the Ukraine war further and help support the Ukrainian economy from afar. Similarly, I am providing work to other Ukrainian refugees here in the UK so that they, too, can become self-sufficient. I am grateful that you are coming on this exciting journey with me. Eight Tees is created in 2016 by Chidem Mokan. Her staple pieces have always been jeans and t-shirts in her daily life however she couldn't find unique enough styles on the market. Number EIGHT is her lucky number and birth date in the 80's so finding the brand name was easy. Chidem wanted to have basics but not basics. With small tweaks in the designs and unfitted shapes in the silhouettes, she managed to find her style. Eight always use best quality Turkish Cotton fabrics and they are manufactured in organic certificated facilities. This means even though the products might not be organic, the facilities are in perfect standards from start to finish. Chidem also cares a lot about the healthy labour conditions and she has very good relations with the team of the manufacturing facilities.
