Bala started making chocolate in her cellar after being inspired and enthralled by Chocolat, a book by Joanne Harris. Having grown the business from home, we now have a small team and we work just across the water from Liverpool. We focus on delicious delightful chocolates that call to the fun side in all of us. We aim to create a magical and memorable experience for both young and old.

The Choc on Choc story started in 2003 in a village near Bath in the UK by a father-daughter team, Kerr Dunlop and Flo Broughton. Kerr is an accomplished inventor (in the 1980s he designed the immensely popular hedgehog boot wiper), and was messing around with chocolate in the kitchen one day, with a recently graduated Flo. Together they were filling rubber moulds shaped as noughts and crosses thinking that that they would make rather nice presents for the family. The pair of them devised a business idea and soon they made enough chocolates to take to a trade show in Birmingham. To their astonishment, they came back from the show with a lot of orders from several shops. Flo and Kerr had to quickly buy some equipment and teach themselves how to make chocolate in order to delight their new found customers. They also needed to stand out from the crowd, so came up with the original, and now patented, idea of layering chocolate on top of chocolate, creating beautiful and unique designs. Choc on Choc was born!

Slab was established in 2015 after a winter of fudge experimentation and practise. Our aim was to create a range of artisan fudge that was both unique in appearance and mouth-wateringly delicious. After many years of recipe tweaking and brand development, we now have a range of decadent, eye-catching artisan fudges all made by hand and wrapped in our Slab depot. Slab Artisan Fudge differs from mass produced fudge in that it is made lovingly by hand in small batches. The result? A unique fudge with a distinctive flavour and texture – creamy, rich and unctuous. From the indulgent Death By Chocolate to the beautifully fruity Lemon Meringue. All our fudge flavours are cooked by hand on the stove-top by our passionate artisan fudge-makers.

We, Stephen and Chris, set up the Kilted Fudge Company back in 2014. Stephen has always had an interest in baking and confectionery-making… so after 23 years in the civil service and a wee chat with Chris, Kilted Fudge was born! Initially starting with a small selection of fudge flavours, we toured local markets and craft fairs before getting into some larger events and festivals… and then it just grew arms and legs. We now have a small team working behind the scenes in Aviemore – in both our kitchen and in the shop in the middle of the village. We expanded our portfolio to include Scottish tablet, traditional macaroons, mighty mallows and chocolate bark. We believe that chocolate shapes also deserve to be made using the finest Belgian chocolate. All of our chocolates are handmade to order by a dedicated team of Cambridgeshire Chocolatiers. Ask Mummy & Daddy was founded by Kane Dowell, in 2019. Kane started selling pre-packed sweets at market stalls and any summer or Christmas fairs he could simply to earn some extra cash whilst also working day to day. The business itself was born from his bedroom and when he would finish hie day job, he would go home and pack more sweets for the next event, he would get friends and family involved to speed up the process and pay them with sweets as a thankyou! After doing that for a few years the business quickly became full-time operation when he believed in himself and jumped in the deep end in 2019 and managed to get himself a meeting with Selfridges in which he still says to this day was one of scariest moments of his life, not knowing much and just being honest and showing passion for something he believed in by creating something that his customers would trust & believe in. Welcome to The Bottled Baking Co! Our business was born out of a love for high quality family baking. Greg developed the idea and every single recipe in his kitchen at home back in 2016. He still develops all of our new products at home along side his little one and everyone in his street gets to sample the new ideas too. It's a real family business! All of our products are still handmade in Yorkshire, we just make a lot more of them nowadays and we are building a fantastic team to help us grow. It has now grown to supply a number of shops, both nationally and internationally, and its success has seen the company grow faster than ever. Candyhouse Ltd has created a distinctive range of predominately UK sourced confectionery, mixing traditional favourites, and more unusual lines, in distinctive, stylish packaging.
