A Secret Forest started on a bit of a whim in Los Angeles in 2013. After graduating culinary school, owner Vanessa Beller baked and caked her way all around LA. Her love of confection led her to create artisan lollipops one night at her dining room table. On the advice of a friend to open an Etsy shop, selling them to a few friends on Twitter, and posting a photo of them on Tumblr (remember Tumblr?) that ended up leading to tens of thousands of reposts, A Secret Forest was born. Working with brands large and small, we've had the honor to create gorgeous products for brands, boutiques, burlesque queens, and rock and roll superstars. It really is such a treat to get to make beautiful candy. We had make everything in small batches and use the finest ingredients available. Most of the designs that we offer are hand painted and cut. I think that's what sets us apart. It's a labor of love and sugar.

Ask Mummy & Daddy was founded by Kane Dowell, in 2019. Kane started selling pre-packed sweets at market stalls and any summer or Christmas fairs he could simply to earn some extra cash whilst also working day to day. The business itself was born from his bedroom and when he would finish hie day job, he would go home and pack more sweets for the next event, he would get friends and family involved to speed up the process and pay them with sweets as a thankyou! After doing that for a few years the business quickly became full-time operation when he believed in himself and jumped in the deep end in 2019 and managed to get himself a meeting with Selfridges in which he still says to this day was one of scariest moments of his life, not knowing much and just being honest and showing passion for something he believed in by creating something that his customers would trust & believe in. Welcome to The Bottled Baking Co! Our business was born out of a love for high quality family baking. Greg developed the idea and every single recipe in his kitchen at home back in 2016. He still develops all of our new products at home along side his little one and everyone in his street gets to sample the new ideas too. It's a real family business! All of our products are still handmade in Yorkshire, we just make a lot more of them nowadays and we are building a fantastic team to help us grow.
