Abacus Brands designs and manufactures dynamic educational science kits and VR toys that inspire, engage and affirm a child’s interaction with the world. Our products are designed to layer the learning process by combining book and editorial content, with tech and tangible play to deliver fundamental concepts and core values. The purpose is to achieve not only a structured method of learning, but to also promote imaginative play, which is accomplished when activating both the left and the right side of the child’s brain.

The All My Emotions Book Series is written by a dad for his son. Christopher Fequiere wrote My Tiny Temper (the first book in the series) with his son Oliver as a way to connect with him and address the big emotions Oliver was feeling. Each book in the series illustrates an emotion and teaches children how to recognize, work though and discuss their feelings as they occur. Combined with a Fuzzy Feeling Friend, the perfect plushy companion for each book, the All My Emotions series has proven to be a hit with kids and parents. Our core values include diversity in characters, addressing the social and emotional health of all kids and creating beautiful stories that are fun and engaging. Christopher Fequiere is the author and illustrator. He lives in Brooklyn, NY with his wife and son and is an animator, a dad and a passionate mental health advocate. He loves reading his books to kids in the park with Oliver, eating ice cream and teaching animation at the local community college.

My wife and I have always been very creative people. Growing up on a farm, we were surrounded by the beauty of nature and the simplicity of rural life. We spent our days exploring the fields and forests, dreaming up new adventures and projects. As we get older, our love for the farm and children never wavered. We both knew that we wanted to find a way to incorporate our passions and talents into a career that would allow us to work together and make a difference in the world. That's when the idea for our company was born. We decided to create a line of wooden toys and silicone teethers that were inspired by the rugged beauty of the farm and the joy of childhood. We spend countless hours sketching out designs and experimenting with different materials, pouring our hearts and souls into every aspect of our business. It isn't always easy, but we are driven by our love for children and our desire to create something special. As our company continues to grow and thrive, we are filled with a sense of pride and accomplishment. We are grateful to be able to share our creations with the world, and we are constantly amazed by the positive response we received from parents and children alike. My wife and I are grateful for the lessons we learned along the way. As we continue to grow and evolve, we remain committed to the values that have always guided us: a love for nature, a love for children, and a love for the magic of creativity.

Jo & Nic’s Crinkly Cloth Books 'Nursery Times' are uniquely designed to look, feel and sound like little crinkly newspapers and have been delighting little readers since 2018. I'm Holly. Spotty Dawdlers was dreamt up over several years of very slow walks with my young children. I wanted to create something simple and sustainable that others could enjoy when they were out on their own very slow walks. Spotty Dawdlers are pocket sized nature spotting books, with stickers to pop on the pages every time something is spotted. A celebration of everyday interactions with nature, the books are full of fun things to spot all year round... dandelions, squirrels, swans, slugs and puddles are impossible for young eyes to miss! Our environmental impact is important to us. Our printers use vegetable inks and on responsibly sourced paper stock. The yarn we use to bind the books is recycled; a remnant of the textile industry. All packaging is recycled and recyclable.

We believe that games are a gift with the ability to bring people together. Through play we can build valuable skills and strengthen relationships. We both create and manufacture our own games and assist other inventors and manufactures in distributing their games. All of the games we distribute have been hand chosen by the owners of our family business.
