Judy Butay Cacal of Butay Art is a Filipino-American traditional artist based in Oahu, Hawaii. She went to school and graduated with a degree in tropical agriculture where she cultivated her love for plants and nature. She enjoys creating art centered around the vibrant plants, flowers, and fruits she surrounded herself with. Her art has themes of nostalgia that's inspired by the cute aesthetics she loved during her childhood and her time growing up in Hawaii.

Basically Britt is a one-woman business run by Rotterdam-based Illustrator Britt. Her passion for reading and creating art resulted in a first range of bookmarks, which quickly grew to more stationery items & accessories. All designs are drawn with lots of love and inspired by Britt's personal favorite things: books, the universe, sunflowers & more! On her YouTube channel and Instagram account she gives behind the scenes sneak peeks and insights of designing new products and this way she hopes to connect with customers in order to create products that they'd love to use.

Saffron Skies is a sustainable fashion and homeware brand selling completely one of a kind, handcrafted pieces made from repurposed materials. Our core ethos is sustainability. We focus on making use of the gorgeous textiles already on this planet and transforming them into new, functional pieces to be used and loved for years to come. We always have the planet in mind when designing our products, even down to our packaging which is completely plastic-free: using recycled card for our labels & compostable bags for our cards. We create small, limited collections and make the majority of stock to order to prevent waste and leftover products. We even keep hold of our offcuts from bigger projects to make patchwork and our zero-waste greetings card range! Everything we sell is entirely handcrafted in our West Yorkshire and Cheshire studios. Growing up I dreamt of running my own stationery business and in 2021 I started the process of creating one. 4 years later I have had over 7000 orders and have tried and tested selling every product possible to work out what brings me the most joy. Now I focus my creativity on creating products about my passions. Reading, journaling, collecting trinkets and gaming are my favourite things in the world and so my store is full of illustrations of these things.

Emily Cromwell is an illustrator and designer based in Sutton, Massachusetts. She loves to design happy and whimsical bookish designs that are sure to bring a smile to your face! Every product first starts off with illustration and hand lettering and is then brought to life on super cute items that get shipped from right here in her Sutton, MA home studio.

Bob and Jeanette Williams invented Book Darts in the basement of their Hood River, Oregon home to help Bob’s high school students with their English studies. They wanted to provide students with a tool that allowed eager readers to read more deeply, to allow them to share their discoveries, and to have quick and easy access to the ideas that inspired them (Book Darts do all this and more, all without marking the page or hurting the book!) As a teacher, Bob developed this book-safe tool as a means to insure that students could save anything in any book they wanted or needed to return to. Jeanette named these little inventions “Book Darts” and suggested the elegant amphora shape. Fellow teachers and parents took notice and began asking for these “Darts” to give as holiday gifts, and from there we grew. Soon, Bob left teaching entirely and the couple traveled the United States and Canada, visiting more than 2,500 bookstores, galleries, and gift shops to promote this new tool for better reading and deeper thinking.

Colourful Chelsea is a one woman show. I have been creating high quality handmade bookmarks, and bookish merch for around two years now since I started caring for my dear dad fulltime, With having a passion for books and art I wanted to combine these passions in a creative and fun way. My bookmarks have proven popular amongst readers! I put a lot of effort, dedication, and hard work into all of my bookmarks. I have a passion for all things Art and creativity, particularly whimsical designs and illustrations, I'm planning to undertake an illustration degree to progress my designs even further. Laurel Mae Art has grown throughout the years, starting as a small commission based business alongside my retail job in 2018, to being self-employed by July 2020! Introducing elastic bookmark jewelry! Book Art Bookmarks was created in 2017 by Margaux. Being an avid reader, the business was born when she was unable to find a bookmark that would stay in her book. Margaux was inspired by a notebook with an elastic band. Visiting her local craft store and creating the first ever Artmark, she was encouraged by fellow readers in the community to start an Etsy. Two years later, Book Art Bookmarks has handmade over 10,000 Artmarks for wholesale, monthly subscription boxes, BookCon 2019, and on our retail website. Margaux, her husband, two small children, and their family dog live in Wisconsin where they love to explore the beautiful outdoors. Margaux contributes her love for reading and starting her business to her wonderful teachers of Montessori. Without their love and support she would have never developed the skills and love to be a part of the wonderful reading community. Margaux continues to create and evolve her Artmarks along with new products to be featured in 2020.

About Simply Creative Simply Creative was born from my love of making hand made goods. Each item is made with love and care using the highest quality printing equipment. With our products we aim to provide our customers with unique designs not available on the high street.

We are a design and production workshop located in Gijón (Spain) and formed by Begoña Andrés and Leugim Durán. We create hanging mobiles and bookmarks inspired by cinema, art, and literature, designs that seek to surprise and connect with that pinch in the heart left by good stories and great characters. They are ideal gifts for anyone! That's why you can find us in bookstores, museum shops, and businesses with personality in Spain, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, England, Belgium, the Czech Republic, and the United States, primarily. We have participated in exhibitions and collaborated with bookstores and stores in centers such as the Reina Sofía Museum in Madrid, the Picasso Museum in Malaga, the MACBA, the Modern Art Museum of Forth Worth Texas or Maag Music & Arts AG in Zürich.
