Solder & Sage is an adornment apothecary creating spiritually focused products to help set daily intentions. Expect to find beautifully crafted hand-made jewelry with a small selection of hand crafted home accessories. The cornerstone of Solder & Sage is to produce high quality handmade products. Everything is made by the artist from start to finish in Chicago. The bulk of the jewelry is created by using the technique of lost-wax casting creating sculptural designs that stand apart. The artist behind Solder & Sage is Katy Froeter. She graduated university with a degree in marketing with a minor in art. After 5 years of corporate experience, she left to pursue her passion for art and became a self-taught metalsmith. In the pursuit of well-roundedness, she traveled to India to gain her 200/hr teacher certification in a meditative style of yoga, and has completed multiple 10-day Vipassanas. Read their story
