Growing up in a family with six boys, I had early encounters with building blocks. From the same blocks, we would build a farm in the morning, a castle in the afternoon, and an airport in the evening. Nowadays, it seems that traditional manufacturers no longer desire individual creativity, but rather that only specific models should be built according to rigid instructions. This annoyed me, which is why I founded the company Open Brick Source in 2019. The company is committed to making building blocks more exciting through different materials (e.g., wood), innovative features (e.g., light & sound), and new designs (e.g., printed, stackable building plates). For us, the manufacturer's brand is not decisive, but rather the quality and innovative power of the building blocks. Under our brand umbrella, we combine a whole range of building block brands from top manufacturers, all of which consistently enhance the fun you can have with building blocks. All, of course, compatible with traditional providers. These are, in detail: - Open Bricks (top quality, e.g., technical pins in body color, mostly prints instead of stickers, etc.) - STAX (LED bricks) - FabBrix (wooden bricks) - CDX (roller coaster models) - Apitor (programmable building block sets) In the future, we will continue to keep our eyes open to capture exciting developments in the building block sector.
