Home Is Where The Lake Is! This simple phrase captures the very essence of Lake Life, and drives us to create our handmade bathymetric maps, bringing memories to life in the home. Since 2016, Cardtography has been creating and sharing our handamde lake art throughout Ontario and beyond, expanding into Canada-wide maps as well as USA and international destinations. Working from actual historic bathymetric surveys, each map is meticulously translated to a digital model. From there, we cut each layer from a sheet of brilliant coloured cardstock, and once each layer is cut we carefully hand-assemble them together into a layered, textured 3D map. These maps give a peek beneath the waves, bringing each lake's mystery and secrets to the surface. Cardtography maps delight all shoppers, offering a unique, one-of-a-kind aesthetic that brings the wonder and memory of the lake into any space.
