Ash dedicated a considerable amount of her time to work with Derma Labs in Germany, undertaking studies assessing skin irritation of her products. Dermatologist’s and Pharmacist’s were able to approve her formulas as suitable for individuals with atopic to sensitive skin, which was a proud moment for Ash and her team. Speaking about how Ash Cosmetics came to be, Ash said: “I had a passion for skincare and always found foundations in medium to high end retail stores either didn’t sit well on the skin, oxidized or caused breakouts. So I worked on a formula for seamless HD foundation sticks. Our foundation sticks formula contains active ingredients to help stabilise the formula from oxidation. Oxidation is a process that takes place when there is a change in the skin's temperature and PH and we have successfully been able to stabilize the process whilst making it suitable for anyone with sensitivity to atopic skin conditions.” From day one Ash has developed a luxury cosmetics brand, with the focus on active ingredients, modern design and exceptional functionality. Her experience and extensive knowledge in Biomedical Sciences and R&D ensures that her core principles are upheld throughout.
