Meredith Raiford is a botanical painter and muralist based out of Athens, GA. In her studio work she specializes in floriography and the historical language of flowers. Throughout history cultures have used flowers to convey sentiment when words fell short. Many of these cultures even went so far as to attribute specific meanings to different flowers and developing an entire visual language of flowers. Each floral print in this shop has been meticulously created in shop and translated using floral dictionaries and guides that translates over 1,000 different varieties of flowers into floriography.
