KARAKORUM by Antonio and Barbara is a heartfelt journey between East and West that began 20 years ago. Since 2020, it has experienced a strong acceleration that has led to a doubling of sales. With an office in Milan (with Showroom) and a sales network of 13 agents in Italy, 7 in Spain and one in Portugal, Karakorum has structured a value chain that lives through stores. Two collections a year, one winter and one summer, are accompanied by advertising material (photo produced for e-commerce and worn for Social campaigns). Stores are our main sales channel, by choice. We do not sell directly on marketplaces (Amazon, Yoox, etc...). Karakorum fashion has always stood out for its dynamic, versatile and customizable style, with ethnic influences involving natural materials such as linen or organic cotton.

New Day Originals is a small family business founded by Dave & Finula (aka Fin). Fin felt there was a lack of choice for women in their 40's and 50's for sustainable, ethically made clothing that is on-trend, stylish, comfortable and affordable. Lockdown gave the couple an opportunity to explore this further and the brand was launched 2020. Dave was born in Essex and Fin in Tipperary, Ireland. They met while living in Sydney in 2008 and moved back to the UK a year later. Now 10+ years on they are proud ‘Brentwoodians’ 😃 Fin is massively passionate about fashion and style but also increasingly aware of the environment and the impact ‘fast fashion’ and our throw-away culture is having on the planet. Since, its inception in 2017 each season our designers design new retro and vintage-inspired clothing, colours and prints. We focus on creating classic shapes from the epic eras in colourful prints. Everything from idea inception, first sketch to hand painting the prints and finally to the finally to the first sample is all done in house in our design studio in London. Sustainability is at the core of everything we do. Starting from choosing the raw materials to the factories we work with and the way the goods are packaged, it is our goal to be as sustainable as possible. While we don’t claim to have all of the solutions just yet, we feel it’s important to be transparent with where we are with our journey towards being a sustainable clothing provider. OUR PROMISE Moving away from conventional cotton, polyester and nylon and sourcing Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) cotton, natural fibres and recycled fabrics is just the beginning and we look forward to sharing with you the ways in which we can continue to innovate and improve over the coming years.
