I'm Sara! Creator, maker, shop owner & magician of Witchy Woman World Apothecary. I opened the shop in October of 2020 after creating from home for a few months & truly coming to life in the process. I created with joy, with curiosity and with intention. I took a real chance on myself during an unpredictable time in the world. It felt insane and also completely correct and so meant to be. The feedback regarding my creations far exceeded any expectations & I found myself doing what I’ve always wanted to be doing- making an actual difference in the lives of others in a way that felt authentic & self- expressive. And now I curate and handcraft monthly subscription boxes, wholesale products & custom create for other shops all over the country, create for individuals and for special events, participate in markets / events and run a busy retail shop where we also host events and workshops. And the community that this shop space has cultivated is just incredibly beautiful. This has since been a transformative & deeply healing process for me. For what started at our diningroom table, to now a shop in Evanston… this shop I have created here has absolutely brought me to life. I am living inspired and living fully. And it is genuinely felt on the receiving end of these products. I handcraft each product by hand one by one with intention & love. It is my art form, it is my gift. Our community continues to grow & together we are all learning how to embrace our own magic & gifts.Read their story
