About Aya & Pete

We’re a children’s media publishing company. We create books, toys, and custom hospitality items focused on travel, exploration, and cultural exchange. Our books and toys take children on learning adventures around the world to spark their curiosity about different places and cultures. Our signature collection is The Amazing Adventures of Aya & Pete, a children's travel book series that shares with children the magic and wanderlust of different cities and countries around the world. In each story, we explore the geography, food, languages, art, culture, currency, and landmarks that children may find in those places. With vibrant illustrations and engaging character-based narratives, our books open children's minds and imagination to the world beyond their doors. We are inspiring the next generation of global citizens, one story at a time. Ashima, d/b/a/ Aya & Pete, is 100% Black-woman and minority owned.
