Yalos Murano is the brand of one of the oldest families of glass makers in Venice Italy. After the terrible plague of 1630 that decimated the local population, including the skilled glass blowers, being traders but always connected to their roots, the Ferro family moved to Murano and were in the Council of the Republic of Venice, occupying this prestigious position as many as 27 times during the eighteenth century. The Ferro Florian line of the family originates from Leonardo Ferro, a skilled master and famous glassmakers who has started numerous and fruitful foundries up to the present day with glassware that carries his name. The company is now an established recognized brand name among Murano producers and is synonymous of quality and a guaranteed of authenticity for every component of the product. In fact, it has a seal from the Artistic Glass Murano® trade mark of origin that certifies products in glass made on the island of Murano, sponsored and regulated by the Region of Veneto. Yalos' Fornace Ferro Murano products are easily recognized by their serial number of 007 that they bear on this trade mark.
