Spreading cuteness and joy through whimsical, organic and circular kids’ clothing that is kind to every living being and the planet 🐾❤️🌎 Welcome to The QT, where cuteness meets goodness! We're all about bringing you adorable, Earth-friendly, organic kids' apparel, free from stereotypes. Our designs embrace circularity, ensuring your little cuties look great while caring for the planet they'll inherit. Beyond a brand, we're a movement nurturing love for our planet and empowering kids with values of equality. The QT is created and designed by a parent, who was frustrated by the kids’ clothing stereotype that “cute” is for girls and for babies, making it close to impossible to find clothing with adorable animal prints for boys after toddlerhood. The QT brings to you "cute" that boys and girls can enjoy - equally. But the most important thing for founder, designer and parent Petya is to bring to you clothing that is as harmless as possible and loaded with positive vibes, so that you can feel confident that what you have purchased has not harmed and will not harm anyone in any way. That's why The QT is sustainably and ethically made, and also designed for circularity to be as close as possible to fully natural, recyclable, biodegradable and compostable. If you value quality over quantity, style over fashion, cuteness over beauty, and clothes that wash without polluting, you are going to love The QT. Join us in spreading cuteness and goodness far and wide.
At the beginning of 2020, before all the crazy things started, the founder, Shola Olufodun, became a mom for the 2nd time. So the standstill didn't hit her as hard as everyone else around her. The peace and quiet on the streets was nice. Being at home together and having time for each other is even better. Everyone found themselves in a newfound cosiness, it seemed — at least as far as clothing was concerned. It was therefore obvious to dress the children even more comfortably than before. Even more relaxed, even more practical, with an even more feel-good factor and yet without looking sloppy. For frolicking and cuddling at home, but also for walking outside the door and breathing fresh air. AYO Berlin was created in this newly found cosiness. Cozy Kidswear made of carefully selected fabrics and ingredients, in impeccable qualities and simply beautiful color schemes, produced in Berlin. AYO Berlin creates a look that is less childish and all the more child-friendly. It also survives 1.2 growth spurts and is therefore the favorite piece that even babies can wear for weeks and months. The zeitgeist is a contemporary witness and we are happy to be a small part of the changed consciousness, which is also able to capture the memory of old, true values. Step by step towards a perhaps more considerate future. Quite imperfect, curious and open-minded. In this sense: ♯ slowfashion & ♯ sustainability. ♯ supportyourlocals & ♯ whomademyclothes.
What could be more difficult than dressing a child, especially when he is moving and you have to try to put a tiny button in a very small hole? It is from this observation that I started to design clothes for children aged 0 to 6, easy to put on by parents when the child is still too small to dress on its own and by the child himself at the age when he learns to be independent in certain everyday tasks. My clothes are adjustable and often scalable because they adapt according to the child's growth. They can sometimes be worn two years in a row (or even longer) thanks to systems of cuffs or adjustable elastics and because, due to their simple shapes, they can have another function over the months: thus, a dress can become a tunic, then t-shirt or pants can become Bermuda shorts without having the impression that the garment is too small for the child. I use materials that are soft on the skin, comfortable to wear and easy to wash. All the fabrics I use are Oeko-tex 100 certified (i.e. free of harmful substances) or GOTS (organic). All my products are handcrafted, in my small workshop in Villeneuve de Berg, Ardèche, France.
Childhood is a time of wonder and imagination. So, when my son Miran was born in 2018, I began by wondering, why couldn’t kid’s clothing care? Why can’t we give our most precious little humans the gift of wearing clothes that are actually not harming the planet and that are good for them? I could not find any clothes that truly respected the planet while not compromising on the look and comfort for my baby. I wanted to create a brand that care for the environment, respects the people making it, and that looks and feels good while being accessible for all. Mon Coeur™ was born to imagine a world where the planet comes first, making kinder clothing for earth-loving kids. Spun from reclaimed organic cotton fiber , our soft and cozy fabrics are made with care, down to every last fiber. Imagine if the fabric for kids clothes could be reclaimed from the atelier floor of more grown-up garments. What if buttons and zippers could help to keep plastic out of the ocean? Could we close the loop on kids’ clothing? That’s wearing our heart, on your sleeve. Mon Coeur™ clothes come from a place where imagination meets ingenuity, where fun meets function. Built for a brighter future that children will not only imagine, but that will become their reality. Where their animal friends have clean air and water, free of pollution and plastic. Our clothing is made for that world. We’re dedicated to making kids clothing that lasts, so that our planet does, too.
Fun, creative and learning in every colour in set! Welcome to Selfie Craft Co, a brand for creative kids who love to make. Gemma created her unique company, Selfie Craft whilst taking time out from her full time job to care for her two children. “The idea of colour in clothing came from my own boys, and their love for crafting. I wanted to extend the pride and sense of achievement they get from making things, and what better way is there than to allow them to wear what they have made!” says Gemma. It all started with the launch of their super soft jersey tops, hand printed to order with a variety of designs, that can be personalised, to include unicorns, dinosaurs and superheroes. On the back of this success the range was extended with the launch of colour-in pyjamas, hats and dress up capes. “We are constantly keeping a look out for new trends and themes. As we are a UK based company and design everything ourselves, we can be pretty responsive and regularly launch new designs,” says Gemma. Each item comes with a set of permanent fabric pens that contain high quality UV ink, excellent for colour vibrancy, which encourage children to explore a variety of techniques. The pens are also professionally tested to ensure they do not wash out. Permanent pens are the cornerstone of the product: children will put a lot of time and effort into their creation - even if they do go outside the lines and T Rex ends up being pink!
This little shop has been inspired by my two little mini's, Maya and Isaac. I have always loved crafting, designing and making items for my own two and thought it would be nice to share my creations with you lovely lot. Most of my previous creations are hand-stitched felt animals, cushions and toys. I soon moved on to hand-stitching patchwork quilts and bunting (sewing machines hate me and the feeling's mutual), then a lovely friend taught me how to screen print and I fell in love with it. It's so satisfying to see my designs come to life! Every item is designed, handmade and packaged by myself in Bromley Cross. With Sophia & The Fox I am going to share my combined loves with you bit by bit. I hope you love them just as much as I love making them. Lastly, the name... inspired by my two children. Sophia is my daughter's middle name, and Fox is my son's. Putting the two names together was just the perfect fit - the two of them starting adventures together and me starting mine. Thank you for joining us. x
