Modern Roots Candle Co. is a faith-based candle company dedicated to creating a peaceful, Christ-centered home through the power of scent. Our mission is to provide clean burning candles and inspire prayer and reflections with our Scripture line. I'm Nissa - first and foremost, a mother, wife, and child of God, and also the owner and candle maker behind Modern Roots Candle Co. In 2022, I felt a calling to create a business that glorifies God, shares His word, and encourages others to express their faith in Jesus. Inspired by my love for candles and a desire to merge my faith with something meaningful, I spent a year testing,refining, and building the brand. In 2023, Modern Roots Candle Co. was officially born, guided by the wisdom fo Colossians 2:6-7 - "to stay rooted in your faith". But I didn't want to create just any candle, I was committed to crafting something natural, non-toxic, and affordable. After extensive research, I developed a collection on clean-burning candles, free of paraffin and phthalates, made with 100% natural soy wax, lead-free cotton braided wicks, and premium fragrances infused with essential oils. Designed with a modern and minimialist aesthetic, each candle complements any home decor while filling spaces with faith, warmth, and light. It has been a project of love and care! Our mission is to provide our customers with minimalistic styled candles that fit the decor of every room. On a beautiful winter morning, in Catania, Sicily, my family was about to give birth to their first child. With a full head of curly brown hair and big green eyes a girl was born to this special and unique land. My birthplace and home to my family - Sicily. As a baby, a young girl and a woman I have so many distinct memories of my country. Most of these memories are attached to particular scents. Running through the fields of my family's olive and orange groves, playing with my friends, meals with so many relatives and the births of my brother and sister. So that you may have a little taste of my sensations I have created a collection for you with some of these special scents from my land. Thank you for entrusting me with your beauty. Sikhana was born out of Covid & is a rebrand of Xperience Pakistan Lifestyle. Sikhana means to educate in urdu & the ethos of the brand is to remove ignorance and bring communities together by educating people about cultures misrepresented or under represented by the mainstream media. I do this via the names & stories of each of my products, which are named either after different cities and places in Pakistan or people / cultures who have a significant story behind them worth sharing with the world. At Sikhana I firmly believe that I can make money whilst doing social good both through education and donations made from every sale for local community projects. I am an eco-friendly company who believes in sustainability and therefore encourage all customers to buy my refills. I incentivise them to do this by offering them at half price of the complete product. My fragrance collection is made by hand in my kitchen, sourcing from local UK based suppliers. My serving platters are made in India supporting women in work and my date palm leaf baskets are made in Pakistan to help support the female artisans in Sindh, Pakistan.

The Story of Devon Wick Devon Wick was only a thought at the start of September 2019. From buying candles and wax melts we knew there wasn't really anyone who wasn't wrapping everything in plastic, especially at an affordable price. So we decided we should start Devon Wick to fill that gap. We really wanted to be more conscious over the environment than our competitors, but we also didn't want to charge a premium for doing it.

In 2017 our then 21-year-old Director Keely spotted a gap in the market for a premium product that could make her home smell like her favourite bath products. Armed with pure passion and excitement Keely started making wax melts from her kitchen with sales growing rapidly until, in December 2018, the Facebook shop sold out within moments of announcing new stock. By mid-2020 Sassy Scents had grown to inhabit a 5,300 SQ foot warehouse in Bristol, employing 20 members of staff. Having grown so rapidly from humble beginnings, Sassy Shop Wax brings fresh, ambitious energy, nurturing, down-to-earth culture and aims to add value to our customers in any way possible. Community and customer service is at the heart of what we do.

Hello, I’m Francesca, the founder of Pippie Melts, established in 2020. What started as a loved hobby, soon grew into a little business where i create decorated wax melts, candles and home fragrance products. The brand strives to lesson its impact on the planet, making sure all materials and ingredients are carefully selected. Eco coconut and soy wax is the core ingredient used. All fragrance oils are vegan & Paraben free. Glitters are biodegradable, made of eucalyptus cellulose and We use biodegradable packaging including glassine bags, an alternative to cellophane made from vegetable starch, dissolvable packing peanuts and eco honeycomb wrap to protect products during transit.

MHC Scents and Home is a small business set up while I was at University gaining a degree in Biomedical Science while raising my son. We make all of our wax melts by hand in small batches from home and pride ourselves on our personal touches.
