For that reason, we use high-quality materials like pure silk, warm wool and soft cashmere, in the production of our scarves. We try to set the price to make our products attractive to most people. Our unique design and history combined with the price, allow our products to be the perfect gifts. The story of Flora Danica Denmark is the tale of the most comprehensive and ambitious flora encyclopedia ever published. By the middle of the 18th Century, the enlightenment was at its peak. Philosophy and natural sciences had favourable conditions during the reign of King Frederik V, who decided, that all the plants in the king’s realm and the use of them were to be described in one large work: Flora Danica. We try to challenge the floral motifs in an innovative and creative way in our design, with great respect for the original illustrations. This has resulted in a number of feminine products that have a modern design, but at the same time respect the classic and timeless Flora Danica prints. Ruth Gallagher is our print designer based in Copenhagen with roots in London and Dublin. Ruth has spent over 10 years in luxury and contemporary fashion brands including; Alexander Mc Queen, Erdem, Stine Goya and Baum und Pferdgarten. Welcome to the world of Flora Danica.
