Kalloway Design is a one-woman print and homeware store based on the sometimes sunny, sometimes dreich West Coast of Scotland. Inspiration abounds in local history, nature and the landscape around us. I love anything that gives me a good giggle and has a great design or aesthetically pleasing typography. I am so proud of Scotland's heritage, history and language and think it should be celebrated near and far. I am the registered original creator of the best-selling 'Scottish Alphabet', ‘Scottish Sayings’ and Scottish dictionary definition prints. I create all my products with a pinch of love from Scotland, so no matter where you are, a wee bit of Scotland is with you. I've been designing since 2009, in a variety of formats from personal projects to commercial. Great design principles are at the centre of my design ethos, as well as not forgetting to have fun with colour and characters. My prints are a mix of the creative, quirky and sassy.
