Amy Misso poured the first few batches of Linwood Candles on her kitchen stove, five floors up in her apartment on Linwood Avenue in 2013. She fell in love with the process and how it demanded her to slow down. To be patient and intentional. From melting the wax, mixing the correct amount of essential oils and slowly hand-pouring each candle. Amy now lives and works out of her home studio in Rochester, New York with her husband and three daughters. With a background in Architecture, you can see her style woven throughout the fabric of her business: architecturally inspired packaging with a hint of vintage charm.
