GOFIO LA PIÑA is a family business founded in 1957 on the island of Gran Canaria (Archipelago of the Canary Islands, Spain). Its main activity is the production and distribution of GOFIO, the name given in the Canary Islands to the product resulting from the roasting and subsequent milling of cereals. The result is a product with a powdery texture, made from cereals, without added sugars, preservatives or colorants, soluble, perfect for adding to hot or cold drinks (coffee, milk, vegetable drink, milkshakes, Smoothies) and mainly giving extra energy to breakfasts. It can also be used in other pastry preparations and savoury recipes. GOFIO LA PIÑA is a company that has been able to adapt to market demands and to the increase in demand, through investment in R+D+i, it has become one of the most modern industries in the sector. This industrialization was necessary not only to be able to meet the demand of the local market, but also to make the leap from the Canary Islands to the rest of Spain and other countries. GOFIO LA PIÑA is committed to quality and “good work”, with certifications in the ISO 9001 and ISO 22,000 quality standards.
