OUR STORY Lit Up Candle Co. was founded by two beer and music lovers with a candle-making problem on a mission to promote sustainability. What started as a dating couple’s shared hobby and side gig brewed into a husband-and-wife’s full-time business. HANDCRAFTED QUALITY Our upcycled candle containers are crafted in-house from beer and wine bottles using a 4-step cold-working process. First, we cut the glass using a wet tile saw; then using a flat lapidary wheel, we grind away any imperfections or chipping, pre-polish the now smooth edge, and polish to add shine back onto the glass. ECO-FRIENDLY & NATURAL MATERIALS - We use all-natural 100% soy wax which is made from soy beans, a renewable and sustainable resource. Not only is soy wax non-toxic, carcinogen free, soot free and biodegradable - it lasts up to 50% longer than paraffin wax. - Our products are strongly-scented with organic fragrance oils that are phthalate free, paraben free, cruelty free, vegan, gluten free, and IFRA compliant. We have a wide selection of diverse scents that includes something for every palate. - Our hemp wicks are eco-friendly, more sustainable than cotton, and burn hotter to improve scent throw. PRICING POLICY We valued our relationship with you, our retailers. To protect brick-and-mortar stores from showrooming, we keep online MAP pricing higher than MSRP. Online retailers may advertise that they offer lower pricing in-store on their product pages but must follow MAP pricing online.
