In 2020, Laure Lefebvre spent a lot of time with her Grandma who passed on her taste for textile art and introduced her to sewing while she was already a needle specialist but on the embroidery side. A shop selling bulk food asks him to create sponges made of upcycled fabrics, this is the beginning of the adventure and the creation of L'Aiguille Verte. In her studio, Laure works on a collection of zero-waste accessories for the home made from heathered fabrics, new or already used. They are carefully selected and washed with organic detergent before being worked. Only the fabrics of the accessories that will be in direct contact with foodstuffs are new and certified to comply with this use. Then the designer draws all her models and it is her Grandma who ensures the quality control of the finished products! In the range we find small leather goods, bags, kits or pouches for digital tablets; accessories for hair, scrunchies and headbands, and for the home, kitchen and bathroom reusable tea bags, coffee filters, pie charlottes, cutlery pouches, sponges or make-up remover wipes or purses to jewelry. A more seasonal range is offered at Christmas with decorations and advent calendars. The simple shapes of the proposed items avoid wasting fabric, she only works in daylight and sends her parcels in recycling boxes
