The brand became popular overnight and Playboy magazine even called UjENA “the sexiest swimwear this side of St Tropez.” UjENA has continued to make quality products. The family owned business is located in Mountain View California. Catherine Cross-Anderson started working for UjENA many years ago and is our head designer and director of manufacturing. It is only fitting that Bob and Catherine met on a plane in 1995 when Bob and crew was coming back from a Ujena photo shoot in Cabo. This in fact is one of several things that sets UjENA apart from most other brands. Bob and crew have travelled all over the world photographing UjENA in such locations as Cancun, Tahiti, Bali, Kenya, Spain, Fiji, Rio de Janeiro, Sydney, Morocco, Paris, St Tropez, Cuba, Prague, Monte Carlo, Greece, Italy, Cabo. “This is important because we see how UjENA look and function live,” says Catherine. Our customers love us because we use quality fabrics and our craftsmanship is first-class done by our team of professionals in our company owned factories. UjENA is ecofriendly. UjENA product is made to last many seasons. “Not all bodies are the same and many of you have different lifestyle needs,” says Catherine. “I consider these factors when designing.” All UjENA products are designed in house in Mountain View, Calif making sure all details are addressed.
