Established in 1990, this uniquely British company design and make beautiful handmade hats and accessories. For both “Town & Country”, and widely sold in many leading Historical Palaces and Stately Homes in the United Kingdom. We believe that there are no rules when it comes to fashion, our hats have a timeless style and classical design that can be worn season after season. All hats are lightweight and have an adjustable internal band for a comfortable fitting, making them ONE SIZE FITS ALL! Sophia designs and handmakes a large range of headwear, the most successful being our Spring/Summer hat collection, all of which can be packed flat and fit neatly into a bag. Our original flat pack hat is still our bestselling design – ideal for gardening, sun protection and holidays. Equally successful is our Autumn/Winter range of rainproof hats. This collection is unique, classical, and elegant in design whilst remaining extraordinarily practical. Look stylish on a rainy dog walk & glamorous at a wet winter occasion! Our “Vintage Collection” of Cloche hats reflect the era in the style of Downton Abbey, Miss Fisher, Great Gatsby & Peaky Blinders. These hats are made from authentic 1920’s, 30’s & 40’s patterns and original hat blocks, resulting in sumptuous yet totally wearable hats for the modern world. All our hats use sustainably sourced, natural fabrics that are handwoven and then milled by artisans in the UK. We aim to develop our future collections in the same way.
