Landing in Switzerland right before the pandemic hit, Founder Colin Topham was fortunate to have flown over with his guy Marley, his now 14-year-old Shih Tzu dog son. Avoiding people, they adventured around hiking and cycling together, and he fell in love with a simpler life. Having grown up in Asia, Colin knew plants before pills was a good way to approach human health. And this got him thinking about how he could optimize Marley’s wellness future with plant-based medicine. It was a fortunate coincidence that he found himself in Switzerland, which happens to be the biotech hub of the world, and met a team working on groundbreaking formulation technology. He formed a collaboration with this team of self-proclaimed Swiss Geek scientists to develop innovative all-natural pet wellness formulations that enhance plant medicines. After relocating to the USA, alchemypet team expanded to include production guru Crystal Webber and operations expert Michelle Aguilar.
