Belltrees Forge was established in 1998 when Jonathan Eadie returned from Hereford Technical College after studying blacksmithing. Travelling on his motorcycle, armed with a rucksack of candlesticks, he started visiting local craft and gift shops, showing them the candlesticks that he had made on his makeshift BBQ forge which was set-up in the corner of a barn on a nearby farm on Belltrees Road. With the support of local shops and the help of his girlfriend, Amanda, in the admin side of the business, Belltrees Forge was born. 25 years later, some things may have changed but the principle of traditionally hand-forging the candlesticks using a coal fire, hammer and anvil hasn't changed at all. Today everything is still hand-forged using the age-old blacksmithing skills that Jonathan learnt in Hereford. He has a small team of blacksmiths to whom he is now teaching these age-old skills. Today his work is sold in upmarket gift and furniture shops. With a wide range of products including lighting (table lamps, standard lamps and ceiling lights), furniture (our console tables and coffee tables are incredibly popular), candlelighting including hanging candelabra and our highly desirable fireside range of companion sets, log rings and log stacks as well as individual pokers, there are pieces for every room in your home.

Looking to weave a little creativity back into my life, I re-found my love of crafting during Lockdown 2020 and quickly discovered the joys of making colourful homeware! I left my career as a data analyst in 2022 and have been busy creating handmade terrazzo homeware in my home studio in Nottingham, England ever since. I’m inspired by simple playful shapes and modern colour palettes and have developed a homeware range which will inject colour into any interior whilst staying true to traditional terrazzo patterns and techniques. SLOW MADE Everything is made by me in my home studio in Nottingham; the design process, mould making and finally casting and hand finishing each piece. This is a slow process but something that makes every piece 100% unique and means I can quality check each piece before it whisks it’s way to it’s new home. RESPONSIBILY MADE It is important that through creating beautiful homeware, I keep my impact on the planet to a minimum. Each item is made from 70% natural materials with all goods used during the making process purchased from UK suppliers. Studio waste created as part of the casting process is recycled back into products creating a circular economy of product making. Imperfect casts are given a new lease of life and turned into new designs rather than being thrown away.

Inspired by my passion for design and creativity, what started as a weekend hobby transformed into Frankie & Claude — a stationery and lifestyle shop. Wickman was created in 1999 by Bryce Huie with the design and invention of the Wickman candle tool. The business was a side business until the original wick trimmer with debris catching trays was added in 2001, at which time Wickman became a full time occupation for Bryce. Since then Wickman has been sold around the globe and is recognized as a premier candle accessory supplier to the gift shop industry. Form and function are taken into consideration when designing new and unique candle accessories. The original wick trimmer's elegant design and ergonomic shape instantly captured the attention of candle lovers, giving Bryce the creative confidence to expand the line further. Bryce enjoys solving problems, imagining and creating better solutions, and adding an aesthetic component to whatever he designs. He is very grateful for the customers and fans that support Wickman and who enjoy and appreciate his hard work and design. Sustainable concrete homeware and Studio Waste jewellery. Handmade, design led, products from North Hertfordshire UK. All of the products I make are individually designed and made, by me, in my garden studio in North Herts, UK. The influence and style of my designs comes predominantly from brutalism. Clean geometric lines, mixed with smooth round edges, form the basis of all of my products. I design and create master objects from clay and then make silicone moulds from these objects, for small scale repeat production. I cast with sustainable Portland cement, mixed with fine aggregates and water based pigments. The waste from homeware casting, is used to form pieces for jewellery items making me almost zero waste in my production process. FERN homeware products form a cohesive range of beautifully pigmented concrete objects. All homeware products are intended to be matched together, in mixed groups, or as individual items. FERN Studio Waste earrings come in five styles in mixed pigment shades.
