From our Founder, Alison Grooms: "Ever since I was a little girl, I have always been enamored with all things beauty! My mom’s makeup bag was a forbidden treasure that I wasn’t allowed to touch until I was a young teen. I remember the first time she ever allowed me to wear the tiniest bit of blush on Halloween in 1998. I was an eight year old dressed up as a mermaid with the most beautiful rosy cheeks. I looked in the mirror a hundred times that night! Since that night, you just can't convince me that makeup doesn’t help a girl to feel more beautiful! I want to help as many women as I can to look and most importantly, feel beautiful. The most important message that I want to convey through the platform of JAZ Cosmetics is that your true beauty is found on the inside. To take it a step further, ultimately you will feel the most beautiful when you realize that your worth is in Christ and who He already says you are. Beauty is found when you find your confidence and your worth in whose you are, and not in who you are. Starting JAZ Cosmetics has been years in the making, and it’s a literal dream come true.
