Llubav is both the name of the artist and the company. Llubav is also the Slavic word for love. And it is out of love that Llubav creates the gouache and watercolor paintings that are represented in the stationery line. Inspired by everyday beauty, and heavily influenced by what sprouts up in her local community garden in Brooklyn as well as far flung places like the American Southwest and her native Peru, Llubav wants the collection to help you express joy, warmth, and sincerity… all with a minimal impact on Mother Nature, using recyclable materials, post-consumer paper and non-toxic inks.
