Hello, I’m Claire, I run Little M from my small home studio in Leicester, UK, while also caring for my two children, Max and Mabel. I started Little M during my maternity leave with my eldest as a creative way to pass the time during their naps. When I was made redundant from my job in fashion in 2019, I decided to take a leap and transform Little M from a hobby into a full-time business. In the early years, I had to juggle work around my two young children. They have been integral to my business, influencing the products and designs you see today. Five years on, I'm proud to have my own successful website and store fronts on Etsy and Not On The High Street, as well as being stocked in small stores around the world. Sustainability is very important to me. I use responsibly sourced organic cotton and FSC-certified paper, and I work with ethical printers in the UK who pay their workers the national living wage. All my packaging is fully recyclable, but I’m happy to discuss plastic-free alternatives.
