Welcome to your new favorite f-word: fiber. Bonny is elevating the overlooked and underappreciated category of fiber supplements. It’s time fiber got the make-over it deserved. So how did our founder decide to take on the “crappy” challenge of making fiber taste gourmet? During COVID, she became obsessed with nutrition and read everything she could about gut health. She discovered that like 95% of Americans (yes 95%!), she didn’t consume enough daily fiber. This is hugely disappointing and troubling because fiber has been shown to have a number of health benefits like supporting gut health, improving regularity, boosting immunity, aiding with weight loss, reducing the risk of cancers, and much, much more. Fiber is the rockstar you need on your grocery tour. Our founder I did what most people do and Googled "the best fiber supplements." And what she found was bad. Every supplement's name ended in ‘cel or ‘lax. Artificial ingredients, artificial flavors, and dyes like yellow #6 were commonplace. Our founder purchased a few options and their taste was terrible. This motivated her to DO something. She saw an opportunity to launch a better-tasting fiber supplement, and that’s what she did. Our founder gets sh*t done (pun intended).
