OPEN SPACES is a journey. The open path and experience that is taken to your own destination. The state of transit, the perpetual movement, the ebb and flow of art, emotion, into that space, into that state of constant journey.To be in transit is to always be on the move, but to stop just long enough to learn, experience and take in the highlights. This concept plays out across our entire branding system through the storytelling and celebration of everything relating to a journey. A celebration of one’s journey of life which OPEN SPACES expresses in both its literal sense (travel, art, movement, expression) but also advocates for in its metaphorical sense (opinion, thought, culture). OPEN SPACES strives to be authentic, recognizing that in expressing the concept of a journey — the editorial framework needs to be created and designed in a certain way to support the varieties of these styles while maintaining a strong visual system (the OPEN SPACES brand) that differentiates us from other outdoor/travel publications. This is a balance that is at the very core of what makes us unique. We launched our first print magazine in 2021, and since then we try to produce 2 magazines a year.
