Feral Fungi is a family-owned company that fruited out of a demand for high-quality mushroom products and a passion for bringing transparency and integrity to mushroom supplements. The company was started in 2016 by Jason Scott, who was researching and teaching about Medicinal Mushrooms and Hermetic Alchemy. After spending years exploring how to extract mushrooms according to the Alchemical tradition, Jason presented Feral Fungi’s original planetary set of mushroom spagyric tinctures. Initially intended to be a one-time offering, the feedback was clear – people wanted high-quality, locally-sourced, locally-processed fruit-body extracts. Feral Fungi works intimately with passionate local farmers and wild harvesters to obtain only the best US-grown organic, or wild-harvested fungi. Each mushroom, lichen, or sclerotia is extracted in specially developed equipment at our facility in Estacada, OR. Drawing from alchemical laboratory tradition, we craft our products using a three-part process that we have spent years experimenting with and perfecting.
