Textiles and fabrics have been manufactured by BAREFOOT in Sri Lanka since the 1960s. The fabrics are handwoven, dyed with ecologically safe paints and filled with high-quality kapok. The BAREFOOT brand stands for timeless beauty in handwork, creativity and design. And every finished product is unique. The unique materials animals and baby toys, the both of the eye and to play, created by the cooperation of women from the land regions of Sri Lanka. The result of this collaboration has now become a story about people who, with creativity and craft, have managed to create small works of art over and over again and to enable all employees to form a positive production community. Each animal is handmade and made by one person from the first to the last night. Every employee is valued and treated as part of the family. You work with the knowledge that your contribution is properly appreciated and that your personal development is also important. The company provides a fair working environment and pays employees reasonable wages.
