LSI started out publishing the greeting card range Lesser Spotted Britain, featuring owner Dominic Greyer's monochrome photos of signs for the UK’s daft and rudely named villages with a map on the back! The genesis for this range was Dominic's bestselling 2004 book "Far From Dull and other Places" and earlier Channel 4 TV series. After moving into gifts with tea towels, mugs, coasters and more, we started licensing with the hugely popular illustrator Jim’ll Paint It. Jim uses an archaic version of Windows Paint to turn requests from 800k Facebook fans into bizarre, often intricately detailed paintings, usually involving a celebrity or two. If you don't know his work you'll definitely recognise the subjects! LSI's newest license is Channel 4’s longest running sitcom Friday Night Dinner - cards, coasters and placemats and prints are now available! All our products are proudly made in the UK with the greeting cards using FSC approved board.
