Anna Hackman is third career herb farmer in New Jersey. Her first career was as a real estate lawyer and she likes to joke that she is still digging in the dirt. She starting growing vegetables 15 years ago. Her passion bloomed into a small scale certified organic herb and fruit farm offering herbal teas, salves, hydrosols, salt blends, simple syrups and tonics. As a lawyer she is trained to be detailed and meticulous. All of her products are harvested at the appropriate time and stored to retain their taste and smell. You won't find lifeless color and smelling herbs from this farm. Majority of the herbs in the products are harvested from our farm. When we exhaust our herbal supply, we always source from other certified US herb farmer since they share our freshness and quality comes first values. We believe in USA grown herbs since our products have a lower carbon footprint and the quality is outstanding. When we started out sourcing, we found the herbs from overseas lost their color and smell. We only source a hand full of ingredients from overseas since they are not available in the US. Unlike most companies, we don't add artificial or natural flavors to our products. We don't need to. Our herbs speak for themselves. Her goal is to create happy humans since happy humans make a better world. So the colors and the names of products are goofy and colorful. Get naked and be happy.
