About Tampon Tribe

Co-Founders Jen and Gaby created Tampon Tribe with a mission to bring premium personal care to everyone. The company began with totally organic, toxin-free, and totally plastic-free period products; and more recently developing amazing period underwear and intimate washes. Starting their business partnership in Beijing, China, and hailing from Brazil (Gaby) and Australia (Jen), they landed in Los Angeles five years ago and began to turn their passion into a reality. Paramount to the duo is a strong give-back to underserved populations, and our Earth. Tampon Tribe supports homeless women in Los Angeles and gives to education programs for underserved girls, including Girls Health Ed., and Project Code Red. They also have a strong employment mission. Launching in late 2016 as an online subscription for totally awesome, organic, plastic free period products that love bodies and the Earth, Tampon Tribe branched into retail mid-2018 creating a niche market for premium products in the sector. With eye-catching, bold packaging; Tampon Tribe products are a fabulous addition to dull (or pink!) period product shelves. Tampon Tribe prides itself on creating products that consumers absolutely love. Coupled with a strong social presence, Tampon Tribe aims at exceeding all expectations, keeping customers coming back for more.

Conscious Generation

Mother & Her son doing their bit to help the environment! From a Young age I have always been passionate about the environment, having grown up in the Yorkshire dales I was surrounded by green hills and forests. As I grew up I was more aware of the pollution around the world and the impact that plastics were having. This was when I started to look at how I could start to try make an impact. The first product that I was keen to try and improve where plastic cotton buds, and from there it led onto many more products. It was also during this time I felt that not enough was being done to make plastic alternatives affordable enough, I wanted to make more people be able to swap single use plastics for reusable’s, and so conscious generation was born! With our core aim of making ‘sustainability affordable for everyone’. I have the belief that if reusable's cost nearly the same as their plastic alternatives then people would naturally choose the reusable. We also recycle and reuse as much as possible, which is why when you order from us the box it arrives in might not quite be what you are expecting! I work with local shops and reuse boxes as much as possible instead of it being sent off to being recycled which takes far more energy and is less environmentally friendly 18 Months in we are going stronger than ever, and we look forward to a strong 2022. If you have any questions please let me know. Thanks, Julia

Grace & Green

Grace & Green is a world-leading B Corp committed to creating the most sustainable period care. We create our tampons, pads, and liners with organic materials for the health of both your body and our planet. The average person uses over 10,000 pads and tampons in their lifetime, most are made of plastic and end up in landfills for centuries. Imagine that multiplied by everyone who menstruates. Our products are designed to break the cycle of period waste: - Always organic: Made with 100% certified cotton and bamboo so you can be confident what is (and isn’t) going in your body - Non-toxic: Free from chlorine bleaches, pesticides and other synthetic materials. - Planet-friendly packaging: We use paper or biodegradable plant starch wrappers, making them recyclable or compostable. - Made with biodegradable materials: Our products are made with biodegradable materials so, unlike their conventional counterparts, they don’t hang around. Our mission goes beyond creating exceptionally ethical products. Through our Period Dignity initiative, we advocate for free, accessible menstrual products, tackling period poverty and stigma. Choosing Grace & Green isn’t just about choosing the best products for your body and cycle. It’s about believing in dignity and access for everyone who menstruates.
