Our Mimosa Collection small white Highland sheepskin rugs are just like little clouds of soft wool. From sheep bred in the Highlands and Islands, the Mimosa small white rugs have been handcrafted here at Skyeskyns using our tree-bark tanning method and lovingly prepared by our talented tanners. They have been chosen for their extremely soft wool. The fleeces are all quite individual, with either shorter or longer wool. Most fleeces will have bear markings in the wool, from small black marks to the paint left put there by the crofter to recognise the sheep. They add a little character! The small white mimosas are a typically Scottish sheepskin and would be ideal either as throw or rug in any part of the home. Dimensions vary but are about 80 long by 50cm wide at their largest points. Each sheepskin has been branded and bears a tag with its tanning date and batch number.
