White Willow Bark Extract (Salix alba L.) is full of naturally-occurring salicylic acid, which is a highly effective and gentle chemical exfoliant. When used in skincare, salicylic acid is used for its exfoliating, inflammation-reducing, and antimicrobial properties. It is excellent at getting deep into pores and dissolving sebum. We use enough white willow bark extract for this serum to reach about 2% salicylic acid. Our White Willow Bark Serum is an excellent choice for sensitive, acne-prone skin.
