A geeky styled necklace for a geeky gal. Maybe also one who wears glasses. Maybe also one who loves to read or study or draw or dance or... well do anything!This necklace features a medium sized off white coloured owl pendant with a pair of bronze glasses on. The owl pendant feels sort of like a rock, but isn't really. The title of this necklace, "Presbyopic Owl" is a little optician joke. The medical term "presbyopia" is given to patients usually falling around the age of 40 who find themselves needing a pair of bifocal glasses or reading glasses to help them see up close better. The term is Latin and roughly means "old man eye" or, in a more gentle way, "wise eyes" because as you age you are deemed to have gathered more wisdom than the younger crowd. Thus an owl wearing glasses :)
