Hello! My name is Scarlett Pons, I'm the owner and ceramic designer of Scarlettwares, a small family run business based in Virginia and I'm excited to share my love of design with you. My passion is to create beautiful objects that you use every day in your home. I enjoy the challenge of reimagining household items as modern elegant designs. Here on Faire I have two lines of work- Ready Made and Handmade. I start my Ready-Made designs in my country studio as hand-built clay items. I make several prototypes and test small batches of these designs. Once I have perfected the design and receive feedback from my customers, I move on to production. I work closely with my manufacturer to have the design cast in high-quality stoneware clay and finished in a classic bone white look. My Handmade Items are made by me in my ceramic studio based in Virginia. I make all my own glazes and fire all my own pieces. I take great care in making these items and since they are handmade details will vary from item to item. Enjoy my work!
