My name is Spring Winders, I’m a jewelry designer and metalsmith by trade, based in Tucson. I started Heliotrope in 2014, pulled to create by my never-ending delight in the natural world, especially the Sonoran Desert and the plant and animal creatures thriving therein. I make rings, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and most of all: bolo ties. These are my favorite to make, my most popular item with customers. Heliotrope is best known for bolo ties. I try to show people that bolos can be worn with casual outfits (not just formal), by people of any age, and that fashion is genderless.
