About thie studios

thie studios is a hamburg based design studio that is run by Katja Kirchner. Her work has been internationally recognized by multiple design awards. Besides everyday design work, we focus on unique stationery. We started in 2016 with the attempt to offer something novel and unseen. Our ambition is to shake up the mainstream boredom of the stationery scene with a style that fits the zeitgeist of design-affine people. thie studios' concept essence centers around the use of only geometric shapes to tell a story in order to create minimalistic, timeless, young and distinctive stationery. Our aim is to have a contemporary reference with influences and quotes from pop culture, design and fashion. The abstract and geometric style of our designs became from the very beginning our unique identification mark and our brand motto: four shapes and endless stories. We develop our products with passion, great attention to detail and we put a lot of effort into finding new and unseen ideas. We pay particular attention to the entire production process and even go as far as handpicking a selection of high quality paper to ensure a superior finish. All our products are produced and printed on FSC certified fine paper locally in Germany. Since the launch in 2016, our stationery has been selected by stationery shops, renowned design and fashion concept stores, such as colette in Paris or 10 Corso Como in New York, as well as museum shops and design driven bookstores around the globe.Read their story
