Burren Balsamics was founded in 2014 with the aim of producing top quality vinegars fusing local flavours with superior quality Balsamic Vinegar of Modena to create a delicious range of affordable condiments. Over a cup of coffee, we decided to produce a range of fruit infused black Balsamics. Our aim was initially to sell the products at local craft fairs and retail outlets. Our products were so well received that we also worked on infusing white balsamic vinegars – or white condiment. Our experiment became real and we now have five more flavour combinations of white Italian condiment to add to our range of ten fruit infused black balsamic vinegars. Whilst we have added to the flavours, fruit infusions and herb and spice combinations, we never compromise on flavour – the ingredients are 100% natural. Also, the processes we use to make the most out of our ingredients involve the extraction of oxygen and gentle heat application resulting in fuller, better flavours all round.

Rubarama started as a dry rub and has evolved into something so much more...it is truly Good Food, Made Easy! When we couldn't find a dry rub that wasn't loaded with salt and sugars, we tinkered in the kitchen until we had our own recipe. Friends and family fell in love with Rubarama and asked us to make batches for them. Soon, we were selling through Etsy. When we started testing new recipes with Rubarama everything shifted because Rubarama turned out to be more than a dry rub, and it brought back this vivid memory: While I was growing up, my dad would go into the kitchen, open a cabinet, and ask, “What’s good to eat?” I would reply with my own question, “By ‘good’, do you mean ‘delicious’ or ‘healthy’? Too-many-to-count kitchen hours later, we proved that delicious and healthy don’t have to be mutually exclusive. Our seasoning blends were borne from those culinary experiments, and today we share them and their tremendous flavor profiles with people to help them easily make delicious meals. Passionate about bringing roots to the surface, La Belle Excuse offers freshly pressed olive oil-based products straight from family-owned olive groves located in Chora, Trifilia, Greece. Restaurant owner Aristo cultivated his family’s olive groves at a very early age. While working at Bistro La Belle Excuse in Joliette, Quebec with his partner Michèle, Aristo would bring over 4 tons of olive oil to Canada each year. They offered it as a side for customers who wanted to enjoy its taste with a piece of bread. La Belle Excuse emerged in 2005 as more and more clients showed interest in the tasty product. They now work with their three daughters!
