The blend of ideas behind Blind Tiger Chandlery (BTC) started in late 2020. With so many uncertainties at that time, and from a desperate need for a creative outlet, our founding chandler started putting the pieces together that would eventually become BTC. Knowing that you could buy your candles from literally hundreds of different merchants or creators, we wanted to bring multiple passions together to form, not just a place to buy candles, but an exclusive, bespoke experience based on a blend of modern and historical - specifically famous speakeasies and the prohibition era - 100 years ago this decade! OUR VESSELS: Our signature candle vessels are made of recyclable glass and are inspired by vintage milk glass. Each one includes a gold trimmed metal lid, specifically chosen to add to the roaring-twenties feel. Additionally, we offer carefully hand picked, antique vessels sourced from all over the U.S. as part of the Blind Tiger Bespoke Chandlery (BTBC). These gorgeous vessels are unique and are offered on a first come, first serve basis. OUR CANDLES: We make all our candles with our signature coconut wax blend, highly-concentrated, clean-burning, phthalate-free fragrances, lead-free and zinc-free cotton wicks. OUR FRAGRANCES: Our fragrances are inspired by the founding chandler’s memories, family, hometown, and other historical southern scents. We also offer unscented for those who love candles but are sensitive to fragrance.
