Nana's Creative Studio was born out of the desire to fill my life with something more. I am a stay at home mom and wife and for years was lost in that title. That is how I would describe myself and it just didn't feel right. I was battling depression and anxiety and needed a way to keep myself occupied. I started out making and selling shirts, ornaments and other things that my Cricut allowed me to to. I eventually discovered candle making and it sort of went from there. I love the chemistry behind making my own products and how you can take some ingredients and create an amazing product. All of this has kept my creative juices flowing. I only use the best ingredients and make everything in small batches in order to maintain quality control. My brand is centered on the fact that I suffer from mental health issues and was still able to make this work. I still suffer from bouts of depression and anxiety, I've just learned to control them and how to have an avenue to help get me out. I create things that make me feel good, that help me center myself. I love feeling pampered after a long day and know that lots of women do as well.Read their story
