I have always loved art and color and creativity. I was the kid in school with doodles in my notebooks and different fonts for all of my note-taking in class. Starting an online shop had been a dream of mine for several years now. However, I kept putting it off because I didn't think I was good enough and I was scared that no one would buy the creations I worked so hard on. My husband continued to encourage me and push me to go ahead and start my Etsy shop. So finally, in November 2017, Living Vertical was born. The shop name Living Vertical comes from my childhood church pastor. Over the years I attended this church, I received his frequent reminders to live vertically, towards Heaven and the Lord. We should not be living horizontally towards the world and its temporary pleasures. Living Vertical lasts, as we look forward to spending eternity in Heaven with God, and this is a reminder and a promise that I want to spread as far as possible! Here in my shop you will find hand lettered stickers, art prints, signs, journals, greeting cards, and more! Thanks for helping support my creative dream, along with my mission to further the Gospel! A LITTLE ABOUT ME: • I graduated from college with a degree in Communication, Rhetoric & Culture. • In 2017 I married my best friend, David. • I have three kids ages 6, 4 and 2 and I love being their mama and staying home with them. • I will never say no to a cup of coffee! • I love hiking with my family and friends here in Colorado!
