About Becky Baur
Becky is an artist based in London. She studied Fine art and now illustrates, paints and designs textiles. After graduating in Fine Art from Brighton, she worked for many years as a freelance textile designer with clients that included Dior, Tommy Hilfiger, Liberty, Marks and Spencer, Gap and Du Pareil au Meme. In 2011 she started her business, Becky Baur, illustrating cards, cushions, ceramics and prints and has sold her products worldwide to shops and galleries that include, Centre Pompidou, ABC Home, Paperchase and Selfridges. Collaborations with other companies include Noodoll and Make International, The Museum of Childhood and The House of Illustration. She has worked as an illustrator for children's books. Her work has been published by Thames and Hudson, Simon and Schuster, and Child's Play in the UK and by Casterman and Éditions Amaterra in France and Story Cat in Korea. She has been published both as an illustrator and under her own name. Titles include Dotty's First Book (Thames and Hudson) Miss Bunny's Shapes and Mr Monkey's Numbers (Simon and Schuster).
