The Detour Co. was created in 2022 but unknowingly founded about a decade earlier. We are Rebecca and Tyler - a couple who took a few detours in life. Along the way our motto became, "just another detour", when we found ourselves in unfamiliar territory. We've travelled around the world, twice. Our 14 month honeymoon was shared in 2016 through our blog titled "RTW D2R" ('round the world detour). We have since hung up our backpacks and grown a family. At one point, while wandering the globe, we thought many of the hurdles and challenges we faced in foreign countries would prepare us for the hurdles and challenges of parenthood... we were wrong. Life has taught us to not only embrace the unexpected but to find humour and joy along the way. This light-hearted and grounded approach to life has served us well. Our deep admiration for our Great Mother Earth inspired us to create our own personal care products. We have been using them around the world and with our children. Now we bring them to you. A gift from our home and hearts to yours.
